How to play Snakes and Ladders Multiplayer
Objective
Roll the dice and move your piece up the board, using ladders to jump ahead and avoiding snakes, to reach the top before your opponents do.
Getting started
- Choose one of the three modes: multiplayer, a game against the computer, or a match with a friend on the same device.
- Lay the board out in landscape by turning a phone on its side, or share a computer screen with a friend.
- Roll the dice on your turn and move your piece forward by the number shown.
- Climb any ladder you land at the bottom of, and slide down when you land on a snake's head.
- Keep rolling in turn until someone reaches the top of the board and wins the race.
Tips
- Pick the same-device mode for a quick game with someone next to you, and the multiplayer mode when you want opponents from elsewhere.
- Play a round against the computer to get used to this version's board before facing real players.
- Stay patient after a long slide. The outcome rests on the dice, so one good ladder can put you right back in the race.
