About Hi-Fi Snake: Groove-Driven Arcade Challenge
Hi-Fi Snake: Groove-Driven Arcade Challenge takes Snake to an isometric disco. You guide a tireless robot from chamber to chamber, and in each one the job is the same: pick up the glowing pellets the exit door asks for, then get out. The door shows exactly how many pellets it needs, so you always know your quota.
The catch is behind you. A tide of lava keeps advancing across the dance floor, so standing still is never an option, and every second spent wandering brings the molten flow closer. Meanwhile, every pellet you pick up lengthens a trail behind the robot, just as in classic Snake, and running into that trail ends the run. So do walls, moving obstacles and enemy robots, which every chamber mixes in its own way. Collect the quota, find the open door and slip through to the next room before the lava catches up.

How to play Hi-Fi Snake: Groove-Driven Arcade Challenge
Objective
Collect the number of pellets shown on each exit door, then reach the door ahead of the lava without hitting walls, obstacles, enemy robots or your own trail.
Controls
Desktop
- Arrow keys: set the robot's direction of movement
Mobile
- Swipe up, down, left or right in the control area: move the robot that way at once
Getting started
- Check the number on the exit door when a chamber opens; that is how many pellets you need.
- Steer the robot with the arrow keys, or swipe your finger in the on-screen control area on a phone.
- Keep moving at all times, since the lava tide advances behind you and never waits.
- Collect pellets while steering around walls, moving obstacles and enemy robots, and away from your own growing trail.
- Once the quota is met and the door unlocks, head straight for it to escape into the next room.
Tips
- Your trail gets longer with every pellet, so plan pickups in an order that does not make you loop back across your own tail.
- The number on the door is the exact quota, so once you reach it, stop chasing extra pellets and race for the exit.
- The lava never stops, so collect the pellets nearest the lava first and work toward the door, finishing close to the exit.
- On a phone, swipes go in the designated control area, typically in the bottom-left or bottom-right corner, so keep a thumb resting there.

Hi-Fi Snake: Groove-Driven Arcade Challenge FAQ
How do you open the door in Hi-Fi Snake: Groove-Driven Arcade Challenge?
Collect the number of glowing pellets shown on the door. Once you have that many, the door opens and the next room is yours to reach, as long as you get there before the lava does.
What ends a run in Hi-Fi Snake?
A single collision. Crashing into a wall, a moving obstacle, an enemy robot or your own trail of collected pellets is game over, and the advancing lava will swallow the robot if you stall.
How do the phone controls work?
Swipe up, down, left or right inside the designated control area, typically in the bottom-left or bottom-right corner of the screen, and the robot moves that way immediately. On a computer the arrow keys do the same job.
