About Moto Obby

Moto Obby is an obstacle course played on a motorbike. Each of its levels lays a hazardous route in front of you, with swinging hammers and sharp spikes among the traps, and the aim is to get through without being caught by them. Two pairs of keys handle the bike: one pair drives it, the other spins it.

Speed management is the real skill. Some hazards only let you through if you ease off, while others need you to push harder, and neither approach works everywhere, so trying different tactics on a stubborn section is part of the plan. The spin keys have a second job as well: when the bike gets stuck, pressing them makes it hop loose so the ride can carry on. The rest comes down to learning where each level places its hammers and spikes until you can ride the route cleanly.

How to play Moto Obby

Objective

Ride your motorbike through each level past the swinging hammers, sharp spikes and other hazards, choosing the right moments to ease off or push harder.

Controls

Desktop

  • Up and Down arrows or W and S: move the bike
  • Left and Right arrows or A and D: spin the bike
  • Left and Right arrows or A and D when stuck: hop loose

Getting started

  1. Start the first level and get the bike moving with the Up and Down arrows, or with W and S.
  2. Practice spinning with the Left and Right arrows, or A and D, so you know how the bike responds before the first trap.
  3. Look at each swinging hammer and spike section before you reach it, and decide whether to slow down or speed up.
  4. If the bike gets stuck, press A, D or a side arrow to make it hop and carry on riding.
  5. When a section keeps beating you, change tactics and approach it at a different speed on your next attempt.

Tips

  • Do not ride everything flat out, because some sections need you to slow down while others can only be cleared with more speed.
  • Swinging hammers move, so watch one swing through before committing, then pick a speed that gets you past while it is out of the way.
  • A stuck bike is not the end of the attempt: press A, D or a side arrow and it hops loose so you can keep going.
  • If one approach to a trap fails twice, change it completely by going slower or faster, since experimenting is the intended way through.

Moto Obby FAQ

How do you get a stuck bike moving in Moto Obby?

Press the Left or Right arrow, or A or D. Those keys normally spin the bike, but when it is stuck they make it hop, which frees it so you can continue through the level.

What hazards does Moto Obby have?

Swinging hammers and sharp spikes stand in your way across the levels. Getting past them depends on speed control, since some need a slower approach and others call for extra speed.

Is going faster always better?

No. Some sections require you to slow down and others need you to speed up, and neither works everywhere. Trying different tactics on a tricky part of a level is how you find the approach that gets through.

Which keys spin the bike?

The Left and Right arrows, or A and D, spin the bike, while the Up and Down arrows or W and S move it. The spin keys double as the hop when the bike gets stuck.
