About MineClicker

MineClicker is a clicker set in a blocky mining world, and every click does real work: it hits the mob in front of you or chips away at a block. Defeating mobs and breaking blocks earns XP and stone, the two things you spend on upgrades and on recruits who keep things moving while you idle. It is not an endless clicker, so there is a finish to work toward.

Progress comes in ranks. Further along, mobs and blocks level up, and moving up yourself means beating a boss level where the boss has to fall before a timer runs out; if it survives, its health resets and the fight starts over. You can stay on a level as long as you like to build strength first. Higher levels pay more cash per block destroyed or mob defeated, yet the price of new items climbs as well.

How to play MineClicker

Objective

Click through mobs and blocks to earn XP and stone, buy upgrades and recruits, and beat each timed boss to climb the levels toward the end of the game.

Controls

Desktop

  • Click: attack the mob or mine the block on screen

Getting started

  1. Click the mob or block in front of you to start earning XP and stone.
  2. Spend XP and stone on your first upgrade as soon as one is affordable.
  3. Hire a recruit once you can, so progress carries on while you are idle.
  4. Stay on the current level until your upgrades feel strong enough for its boss.
  5. Take on the boss level and defeat the boss before the timer ends, or its health resets.

Tips

  • Since you may stay on a level as long as you like, farm it until you can clear the boss well inside the timer instead of attempting it early.
  • A failed boss attempt resets the boss's health, so use it to judge how far short you fell, then return after more upgrades.
  • Recruits keep earning while you idle, which makes them a strong early buy when you cannot click constantly.
  • Moving up raises the cash from each block and mob, but item prices climb too, so buy key upgrades before you advance.

MineClicker FAQ

What happens if you fail a boss in MineClicker?

The boss levels run on a timer. If you cannot kill the boss before it expires, its health resets and you have to start the fight over, so building upgrades first makes the attempt easier.

Is MineClicker an endless clicker?

No. It is described as a non-endless clicker, so there is an end to reach. Mobs and blocks level up as you advance, and timed boss levels are the gates between ranks.

What are recruits for in MineClicker?

Recruits make idling easier. You hire them with what you earn from mobs and blocks, and they keep your progress going when you are not clicking every moment.

Does MineClicker work in portrait and landscape?

Both orientations are supported, on phones as well as computers, so hold the device whichever way you prefer while you work through mobs and blocks.
