About Robby The Lava Tsunami
Robby The Lava Tsunami is an obby-style runner built around one relentless threat: a wave of lava that keeps rolling after you. Each run is a race through a colorful obstacle course, and the way to win is to keep enough distance between your character and the molten flow while you run and jump past whatever the track puts in front of you.
Movement is only part of the toolkit. Five abilities sit on the number keys and can be triggered at any moment, giving you extra options when the lava closes in or a section gets awkward. Getting started
- Start moving as soon as the run begins, because the lava wave is already flowing at your heels.
- Move with WASD on a computer, or the on-screen interface on a phone, and turn the camera to see the path ahead.
- Press Space to jump over obstacles while keeping as much distance from the lava as you can.
- Trigger one of your five abilities with keys 1 to 5 whenever the lava is gaining or a section gets awkward.
- Press Tab or Escape if you need a break, then pick the chase back up once you are ready.
Tips
- Learn what each of the five abilities does early on, so you can reach for the right key the moment the lava starts closing the gap.
- Use the mouse to swing the camera ahead before a tricky stretch, so you are not jumping blind with the wave right behind you.
