About 12 MiniBattles - Two Players

12 MiniBattles - Two Players is a party game for two people sharing one device. Each round is a short physics-based contest, and the game picks the type at random, so one moment you are playing a soccer match and the next you are in a sniper shoot-out. The mix includes fan-made takes on well-known two-player games, which gives every round a different feel and keeps both players guessing.

Every contest uses a single button per player. On a computer, Player 1 presses A and Player 2 presses L, so two people can share one machine comfortably. Because the input never changes, learning a new contest takes seconds, and what changes is what that one press does: the physics of each game turn the same button into a kick, a jump or a shot. Retro graphics and quick pacing keep matches short. The game is also marked for phones in landscape.

How to play 12 MiniBattles - Two Players

Objective

Win more contests than your opponent across the randomly chosen mini battles, using nothing but your single button in each one.

Controls

Desktop

  • A key: Player 1's single button
  • L key: Player 2's single button

Getting started

  1. Sit two players at one computer: Player 1 takes the A key and Player 2 takes the L key.
  2. Start a match and let the game choose a mini battle at random from its set of contests.
  3. Watch the first seconds of the round to see what your single button does in this particular contest.
  4. Press your button at the right moment to beat your opponent, then adapt as the following random game loads.

Tips

  • Timing beats mashing. With only one button, the physics decide how each press plays out, so a well-judged press often wins where frantic ones fail.
  • Expect anything: games are chosen at random, so a soccer match can be followed by sniper warfare. Reset your thinking at the start of every round.
  • The two keys sit at opposite ends of the row, A and L, so each player can keep a hand ready without reaching across the other.

12 MiniBattles - Two Players FAQ

What are the controls in 12 MiniBattles - Two Players?

Each player has one button. On a computer, Player 1 uses A and Player 2 uses L. Every mini game is built around that single input, so you only need to learn when to press, not which key.

Can you play 12 MiniBattles alone?

It is built as a two-player game where you face a friend. The contests, from a soccer match to sniper warfare, are designed around two people competing on the same device, each with a single button.

How are the games chosen in 12 MiniBattles - Two Players?

At random. The game draws from its different game types, including a soccer match and sniper warfare, so you rarely know what is coming next. That variety is the main appeal of the collection.
