About Ball: Path Through Obstacles
In Ball: Path Through Obstacles you are the ball, rolling along a course packed with traps, and getting through means steering carefully, turning at the right moments and jumping when the path demands it. Coins are scattered along the way, and collecting them is the other half of every run.
Those coins have two uses. In the store you can buy new skins for the ball, and improvements are available from an icon at the left edge of the play area. The ball handles a little like a small vehicle rather than sliding freely: moving forward and backward is separate from turning left and right, so lining up with a narrow section takes some planning. Patience pays off more than speed here, because a rushed approach is what usually sends the ball into a trap.

How to play Ball: Path Through Obstacles
Objective
Roll the ball along the obstacle course without getting caught by the traps, collecting coins to unlock new skins and improvements along the way.
Controls
Desktop
- W: move forward
- S: move backward
- A and D: turn left and right
- Space bar: jump
- Click the improvement icon (left side): use an improvement
- Click the store icon in the menu: buy a skin
Mobile
- Virtual joystick (lower left): move the ball
- Jump button (lower right): jump
- Tap the improvement icon (left side): use an improvement
- Store icon in the menu: buy a skin
Getting started
- Start rolling with W, or push the virtual joystick in the lower left corner forward on a phone.
- Turn with A and D, or by moving your finger on the joystick, to line the ball up with the path.
- Jump over traps and gaps with the space bar or the button in the lower right corner.
- Roll through coins wherever they sit along the course, since they pay for skins and improvements.
- Open the store icon in the menu to buy a skin, or use the improvement icon on the left during play.
Tips
- Since W only pushes forward and A or D turn the ball, ease off before sharp bends rather than steering at full speed.
- Watch each trap's timing before jumping; the course has a rhythm, and a well-timed press of the space bar clears what a hurried one misses.
- Spend coins on improvements as well as skins, because the improvement icon on the left side gives you something to use during a run.
