About Dune Surfer
Dune Surfer turns sand surfing into a ball game. You guide a ball over rolling dunes, using the slopes to build up momentum and launch into long jumps. Coins are scattered along the way, and grabbing them as you roll and fly is part of every run.
The skill lies in balance. Speed carries you farther, but too much of it without control leads to harsh landings, so the best runs mix pace with smooth arrivals on the far side of each dune. When a run ends, a TAP TO RETRY screen sends you straight back out. Coins also matter outside a run, because they buy new characters to roll with. The calm visuals, including night-time scenery, give the game a relaxed feel, and the screen is landscape.

How to play Dune Surfer
Objective
Roll the ball across the dunes, gaining momentum for big jumps and landing smoothly, while collecting coins you can spend on new characters.
Controls
Mobile
- Tap: start again from the TAP TO RETRY screen after a run ends
Getting started
- Rotate a phone into its wide view, or open it on a computer, and start rolling across the first dunes.
- Use the downhill slopes to build momentum, since speed is what powers the bigger jumps.
- Aim to land smoothly on the far side of each dune instead of slamming down hard.
- Collect the coins along the route, picking them up during your jumps where you can.
- When a run ends, tap at the TAP TO RETRY screen, and spend saved coins on new characters.
Tips
- Ease off before a landing. Harsh landings are the main thing to avoid, so trading a little speed for a soft arrival keeps the run alive.
- Build speed on long downhill stretches; momentum is what turns a small hop into an impressive jump over the next dune.
- Save coins for a character you really want. Each one has its own price in coins, so set a target before spending on the first one offered.

Dune Surfer FAQ
What do coins do in Dune Surfer?
Coins buy new characters. You collect them while rolling over the dunes, and once you have enough, the game offers a character for a set number of coins, which you can accept to add it to your collection.
What should you avoid in Dune Surfer?
Harsh landings and crashes. Coming down too hard after a jump is what spoils a run, and when it is over a TAP TO RETRY prompt lets you start again right away.
Is Dune Surfer relaxing or fast-paced?
Mostly relaxing. It has calm visuals and straightforward play, though keeping enough speed for big jumps while landing smoothly still takes practice. Phones show it in landscape, as do computers.
