About SKATE: +1 Speed
SKATE: +1 Speed is a skate parkour obby built on a stacking speed stat. The longer you stay on your board, the faster you get, with every second adding another boost. Runs start in a hub, where you ride treadmills and collect skateboard and shoe icons to raise your velocity before entering the linear parkour tracks.
On the courses, you jump gaps, dodge pendulums and traps, and aim for distance milestones that pay out trophies and coins. Speed cuts both ways: jump distance grows with it, but reaction windows shrink, and boost pads can fling you past a landing. Miss a platform and you return to the last checkpoint, with speed reset to its base value. Coins buy new skateboards with better acceleration and higher top speeds in the hub shop, while pets add passive bonuses such as higher jumps or coin multipliers. Wings and skins are purely cosmetic, and a leaderboard ranks you against other players.

Objective

Getting started
- Start in the hub and ride the treadmills, collecting skateboard and shoe icons to raise your speed stat.
- Move with WASD or the arrow keys, or the on-screen buttons on a phone, and get a feel for your current pace.
- Enter a parkour track once your speed is up, jumping gaps with the Spacebar and dodging pendulums and traps.
- Reach distance milestones for trophies and coins; a fall puts you back at the last checkpoint with base speed.
- Spend coins in the hub shop on a faster skateboard or a pet, then return to the tracks for longer runs.
Tips
- Learn where obstacles sit during slow runs, then lean on that memory once your speed climbs and reaction time shrinks.
- Briefly release forward before tight turns to brake, since overshooting a platform at high speed is a real risk.
- Treat boost pads with care: they spike your speed, which helps on long gaps but makes overshooting the next landing more likely.
- Pick pets with jump-height bonuses if falls keep resetting your speed, because higher jumps offset the shrinking margin at top velocity.

How does the +1 speed boost work?
Your speed rises a little every second you stay on your board, and collecting speed icons or riding treadmills in the hub adds more. Higher speed means longer jumps but less time to react, and upgrades and pets multiply the gains.
What happens if you fall off a platform in SKATE: +1 Speed?
You respawn at the last checkpoint and your speed stat drops back to its base value. Progress toward milestones and trophies stays saved, but the speed you built during that run is lost.
Can you play SKATE: +1 Speed on a phone?
Yes. On mobile, on-screen buttons handle movement and jumping, and a finger swipe across the right side of the screen rotates the camera. It runs on Android, iOS and desktop browsers.
What do skateboards and pets do?
