About Epicrolla
Epicrolla puts a ball on a diamond-shaped isometric grid, where it hops from corner to corner by itself. You only ever decide one thing: when to flip its heading between left and right. The ball bounces off the edges automatically, so every input is about timing rather than aiming. Each stage has a tile goal, and you clear it by covering that many tiles before anything stops you.
Plenty stands in the way. Gaps in the floor, lava, boxes and spinning portals all threaten the run, and dropping into a gap, landing in lava or hitting an obstacle ends it. Item boxes on the route hold five power-ups: Push, Slow-Mo, Dodge, Coin Magnet and Invincibility. Coins you bank are spent between stages on permanent upgrades, new ball skins and a Second Chance that can be bought again and again.

How to play Epicrolla
Objective
Travel the number of tiles each stage requires while keeping the ball out of gaps and lava and away from obstacles, collecting coins and power-ups as you roll.
Controls
Desktop
- Click or Space: flip the ball's rolling direction
Mobile
- Tap: flip the ball's rolling direction
Getting started
- Start a stage and watch which way the ball is heading as it hops across the diamond grid.
- Tap, click or press Space to flip its heading between left and right before it reaches a hazard.
- Keep away from gaps, lava, boxes and spinning portals, since a fall, a lava hit or a crash ends the run.
- Roll into item boxes to grab power-ups such as Slow-Mo, Dodge or Invincibility when they appear.
- Reach the stage's tile goal, then spend banked coins on upgrades, skins or a Second Chance.
Tips
- The edges bounce the ball back on their own, so there is no need to flip at every wall; save your inputs for getting around hazards.
- Upgrades bought with coins are permanent, so coins from early runs are never wasted, and item boxes are worth a small detour whenever the route around them is safe.
- Second Chance can be bought more than once, so keeping a few coins in reserve before a long stage can rescue a run close to the tile goal.

Epicrolla FAQ
What does a single tap do in Epicrolla?
It flips the ball's heading between left and right. On a computer, a click or a press of Space does the same thing. That one input is the whole control scheme, so timing it around hazards is the core skill.
Which power-ups appear in Epicrolla?
Item boxes along the stages carry five of them: Dodge, Push, Slow-Mo, Invincibility and Coin Magnet. Picking them up is part of surviving long enough to reach each stage's tile goal.
What are coins used for in Epicrolla?
Banked coins are spent between stages on permanent upgrades, ball skins and a Second Chance that you can buy repeatedly. Because upgrades last, every run adds something to the ones that follow.
How do you clear a stage in Epicrolla?
Travel the required number of tiles for that stage. The run stops early if the ball drops into a gap, lands in lava or crashes into an obstacle, so staying alive is the real task.
