About The Black And White
The Black And White begins after a black hole swallows two heroes, one black and one white, and leaves them on a strange planet covered in portals. Getting them home means guiding the pair through a run of puzzle levels, and each hero brings an ability the other lacks. Progress depends on using both of those abilities together, so most of the thinking is about which hero handles which part of a level.
Stages are chosen from a set of level buttons, and each button takes you straight into its stage. Jumping is part of how the heroes get around, and a reset option puts a level back to its opening state when a plan goes wrong. Portals link different parts of the planet, so working out where each one leads is part of reading a stage before you move. The game uses a landscape layout on computers and phones alike.

Getting started
- Hold a phone sideways before starting, as the game is laid out in landscape on both phones and computers.
- Pick a stage from the level buttons; each button takes you straight into that part of the portal planet.
- Look at what each hero can do before moving, because the puzzles depend on the black hero and the white hero having different abilities.
- Jump and move the heroes toward the way out, checking where each portal leads before sending anyone through it.
- If the pair ends up stuck, reset the level and try the same moves in a different order.
Tips
- Plan for both heroes at once. A route that works for the black hero may leave the white one stranded, and both of them need to get home.
