About Solitaire Klondike - Treasure Island
Solitaire Klondike - Treasure Island pairs a standard game of Klondike with a pirate treasure story. The heroine is searching for the fortune her father hid away, and she has rivals to outwit as she goes, so the story gives each hand a purpose beyond tidying up the table. Animations accompany the adventure between and around the card play.
The rules are the familiar ones. Seven columns fill the main board, and you stack downward by laying a card of the other color that is exactly one rank lower. An empty column accepts only a King. Runs that already alternate in color and drop in rank can be dragged together from one column to another, which allows longer plans. Four foundation piles, one for each suit, collect cards from Ace up to King, and a hand is won once all four are complete. There is no cap on passes through the deck, so you can keep reviewing it before you commit.

How to play Solitaire Klondike - Treasure Island
Objective
Build all four foundation piles by suit from Ace to King, until every card from the columns and the deck has been placed on them.
Controls
Desktop
- Drag: move a run of cards that alternate in color and descend in rank from one column to another
Getting started
- Scan the seven columns for any Ace that is already available, and move it up to start a foundation pile for its suit.
- Build down in the columns by placing a card of the opposite color and one rank lower, such as a red nine on a black ten.
- Drag whole runs of alternating cards between columns to uncover the cards trapped underneath them.
- When the table runs out of moves, go through the deck; it can be reviewed as many times as you need.
- Fill any emptied column with a King only, and keep adding twos, threes and higher cards to the foundations until all four reach King.
Tips
- An empty column only takes a King, so avoid clearing one out until a King is actually available to move into it.
- Unlimited passes through the deck remove the pressure of a single run, so cycle through it to find the card you need before breaking up a column.
- When a card you need is buried under a run of alternating colors, drag the whole run elsewhere instead of taking it apart card by card.
- Sending low cards to the foundations early is not always wise; a black three may still be the only landing spot for a red two in the columns.

Solitaire Klondike - Treasure Island FAQ
What is the story in Solitaire Klondike - Treasure Island?
A brave heroine sets out to find the fortune her father left hidden, outwitting the enemies who stand in her way. The card play itself is classic Klondike, and the pirate adventure unfolds around your hands with animations along the way.
How many times can you go through the deck?
As many times as you like. The deck can be reviewed without limit, so there is always a chance to rethink a move before committing to it. A card you skipped earlier will come around again, which suits a slow, careful style.
Which card can go into an empty column?
Only a King. Once a column is cleared, it stays empty until you move a King there, either on its own or at the head of a run of alternating cards. Every other rank has to wait for a matching spot.
