About Novice Fisherman
Novice Fisherman follows a beginner angler at the start of fishing season, when the sea is full of fish. He is new to the job and his boat is slow, so getting to the right spot takes some planning. You move the boat left and right with the arrow keys and press the down arrow to drop the fishing rod into the water, and levels are completed by making good use of the time you have.
Sharks complicate things. When they show up, you can drop bombs on them before getting back to the catch. Because time matters on every level, the game is really about using each second well: positioning the slow boat ahead of time, casting at the right moment, and dealing with sharks quickly instead of letting them hold you up. Points track how well a session went, and the sea is shown in landscape, which suits a computer screen.
