Swipy Basketball strips the sport down to the shot. There is a ball, a hoop and a single gesture: a swipe sends the ball on its way, and the swipe decides its trajectory. Reading that arc and getting it right again and again is the core skill, and there is nothing else to think about between you and the basket.
The catch is that the hoops do not stay put, so timing joins aim as the second half of every shot. A swipe that would have scored a moment earlier can now sail past. Each basket raises your score, and the aim is always a higher number than last time. Stars turn up as well, and collecting them unlocks new skins, so there is a second thing to work toward besides points.
