About Billiards 3D: Russian Pyramid

Billiards 3D: Russian Pyramid sits you at a lifelike billiard table across from a virtual opponent. You choose how strong that opponent plays, so a match can be tuned to your own level and made tougher as your shots improve. The game leans on realistic physics and careful planning, and tables come in different sizes, which gives each match its own feel.

Shot-making is split into three separate jobs, each with its own control. Aiming comes first: you rotate the cue around the cue ball and can refine the line with a precision wheel on the right of the screen. Spin, called screws here, is set by moving the impact point on a small ball icon in the upper right. Cue inclination is changed through a cue ball icon at the top, where you lift the cue to a steeper angle. Each setting is locked in with a green button, and the shot itself comes from pulling back the cue on the left side and letting go.

How to play Billiards 3D: Russian Pyramid

Objective

Beat virtual opponents at billiards on tables of different sizes, adjusting their difficulty to your level and combining aim, spin and cue tilt into accurate shots.

Controls

Desktop

  • Click the table: swing the cue around to aim
  • Hold Shift while aiming: precise aim
  • Click the cue at the left edge, draw back, let go: strike with that force
  • Hold X while aiming: move the impact point for screws
  • Hold Z while aiming: change the cue tilt
  • Green button: confirm a spin point or cue angle

Mobile

  • Precision aim wheel on the right: fine-tune the aim direction
  • Dotted ball icon, top right: set the spin impact point
  • Cue ball icon at the top, then tap anywhere: raise the cue to the angle you want
  • Cue on the left side: pull back to set force, then release to strike

Getting started

  1. Set the difficulty of your virtual opponent before the match, matching it to how confident you feel with a cue.
  2. Click on the table and turn the cue until it points along the line the cue ball should travel.
  3. Refine that line with the precision wheel at the right edge, or hold Shift while aiming on a PC.
  4. For spin, open the dotted ball icon at the top right, shift the impact point and confirm in green.
  5. Grab the cue at the left edge, draw it back as far as the power you want, then let go to shoot.

Tips

  • Use the precision wheel or Shift on long shots, since a tiny error in the rotated cue grows over the length of the table.
  • On a PC, holding X or Z while aiming sets spin or tilt directly, saving a trip to the icons at the top of the screen.
  • Tables come in different sizes, so judge the pull-back force afresh at the start of each match instead of reusing the power from the last table.
  • Raise the opponent difficulty one step at a time; the adjustable computer skill exists to keep matches close to your current ability.

Billiards 3D: Russian Pyramid FAQ

How do you put spin on the ball in Billiards 3D: Russian Pyramid?

Spin is called screws here. Open the dotted ball icon at the top right, place the impact point where the cue should meet the ball and confirm with the green button. On a PC, holding X while aiming does the same job.

How do you raise the cue angle?

Open the cue ball icon along the top edge to switch to inclination mode, then tap the screen and lift the cue to the angle you want before confirming in green. On a computer, holding Z while aiming changes the tilt instead.

Can you change how strong the opponent is?

Yes. The virtual opponents have adjustable difficulty, so you can match their skill to yours, start against a gentle rival and raise the challenge as your aiming, power and spin become more reliable.

How is shot power set?

Click the cue at the left edge and pull it back; the further you pull, the harder the strike. Releasing plays the shot with the force you chose, so power and aim are set as two separate steps.
