About Rocketcar Cup
Rocketcar Cup is soccer on a flat 2D pitch with rocket-powered cars instead of players. You ram the ball to send it toward the other team's goal, defend your own net when the other side attacks, and use boost, jumps and flips to reach balls that are out of reach on the ground. Matches can be one-on-one or team games, and the side with more goals wins.
Two special moves shape play. Boost gives a burst of rocket speed for chasing loose balls or getting back on defense, and Hard Hit strikes the ball harder than an ordinary bump, which is handy for shots and clearances. Aerial flips open up goals that ground play cannot create, so timing a jump to meet the ball in the air is the skill most worth practicing.

How to play Rocketcar Cup
Objective
Outscore your opponent in one-on-one or team matches by driving, boosting and flipping your car into the ball and keeping it out of your own goal.
Controls
Desktop
- WASD or arrow keys: drive
- Shift: boost
- Q: Hard Hit
Mobile
- Virtual joystick: drive
- Blue button: boost
- Yellow button: Hard Hit
Getting started
- Pick a one-on-one or team match, then drive toward the ball with WASD, the arrow keys or the virtual joystick.
- Push the ball toward the opposing goal by driving into it from behind.
- Use boost with Shift or the blue button to reach a loose ball before your opponent does.
- Press Q or the yellow button for a Hard Hit when you are lined up for a shot or need a clearance.
- Turn back when the other side attacks, and put your car between the ball and your own goal.
Tips
- Hard Hit sends the ball harder than a normal push, so save it for when the car is lined up with the goal or you need a long clearance.
- Boost is as useful on defense as in attack; use it to get back in front of your goal after a missed shot.
- Aerial flips create chances that ground play cannot, so practice timing jumps to meet the ball in the air.

On a computer, WASD or the arrow keys drive, Shift boosts and Q performs a Hard Hit. On a phone, the virtual joystick drives, the blue button boosts and the yellow button performs a Hard Hit.
Can you play team matches?
Yes. Rocketcar Cup offers both one-on-one matches and team matches, and in either format the aim is to outscore the other side while defending your own goal.
What is a Hard Hit?
A stronger strike on the ball, triggered with Q on a computer or the yellow button on a phone. It sends the ball with more force, which helps with shots on goal and with clearing danger.
