About Fish Rain
Fish Rain is a fishing simulator set at real places around the world. Each spot is modeled on a location that exists, and the fish you can catch there are the species that actually live in that water. Moving to a new place therefore means meeting a different set of fish rather than the same catch in new scenery.
Landing them takes technique. Casting well is a skill in its own right, and the game expects careful strategy on top of it: watching the water patiently, choosing bait with a purpose and changing tactics for each fish. A method that lands one species may do nothing for another, so learning what each location holds is part of the progress. The view is set in landscape on phones and computers alike.

How to play Fish Rain
Objective
Fish real-world locations, cast with care and adapt bait and tactics to each local species until you have landed the fish each spot offers.
Getting started
- Turn the phone sideways; the fishing view is designed for landscape.
- Pick your first fishing spot and find out which local fish live in that water.
- Choose a bait suited to what you hope to catch rather than using the same one everywhere.
- Cast carefully and watch the water patiently before reacting to anything.
- When a fish ignores your approach, change the bait or the tactic and try again.
Tips
- Fish are tied to their location, so if you want a particular species, travel to the place where it actually lives instead of waiting at the wrong spot.
- Treat bait as a deliberate choice for each fish; the game rewards matching tactics to the species rather than repeating one setup.
- Work on your casting, since technique is one of the skills the game is built around, alongside reading the water patiently.

Fish Rain FAQ
Are the fishing spots in Fish Rain real places?
Yes. The game lets you fish at places that exist in real life, and each one holds the fish that actually live there, so the species change as you move between locations.
Does bait matter in Fish Rain?
It does. Bait selection is part of the strategy, and different fish call for different tactics. Picking bait with a specific species in mind works better than using one choice for every catch.
Can Fish Rain be played on a phone?
Yes, it runs on both phones and computers. Turn a phone to landscape, since the fishing scene is laid out for a wide screen and the water needs the room.
