How to play Field Master
Objective
Take each field through the full farming cycle, from plowing and sowing to tending the crops and harvesting them with a combine.
Controls
Desktop
- W or Up Arrow: move upward
- S or Down Arrow: move downward
- A or Left Arrow: move left
- D or Right Arrow: move right
- Q: switch vehicles
- E: load or unload
Mobile
- ↑ and ↓ arrows: move upward and downward
- ← and → arrows: move left and right
Getting started
- Start with the tractor and drive it onto the field with W, A, S and D or the arrows to plow the soil.
- Work across the field to prepare the ground, since soil preparation is the first stage of the farming cycle.
- Press Q to switch to the seeder, then drive over the plowed ground to sow the seeds.
- Tend the crops as they grow, pressing E to load or unload whenever the job calls for it.
- When harvest season arrives, switch to the combine with Q and drive it through the field to bring the crop in.
Tips
- Q switches vehicles, so change machines as soon as one stage is finished rather than driving back and forth.
- The stages run in order, soil, seeds, growth and harvest, so think about which machine the field needs next before moving on.
- Each machine has its own role, from the tractor's plowing to the combine's harvest, so use the right one for the stage in front of you.
