About Super Steve World
Super Steve World is a platformer in the classic mould, starring an ordinary guy called Steve. Levels are filled with enemies, coins, health pickups and power-ups, and the standard way to deal with a foe is to land on its head. When a fireball is available, Steve can throw it as well, which handles enemies from a distance instead of up close.
Every level runs against a clock, so there is little room for hesitation. Coins are worth more than a high score: collecting them earns extra lives, and secret areas tucked into the levels hold plenty of extra coins for anyone who goes looking. Two keyboard layouts are offered, one built on the arrow keys with Z and X, the other on WASD with K, J and Space, so either hand position works. The game is shown in landscape.

How to play Super Steve World
Objective
Guide Steve through each level before the time runs out, stomping enemies, collecting coins for extra lives and hunting down the secret areas along the way.
Controls
Desktop
- Arrow keys: move Steve (profile 1)
- Z: jump (profile 1)
- X: shoot a fireball when one is available (profile 1)
- WASD: move Steve (profile 2)
- K or Space bar: jump (profile 2)
- J: shoot a fireball when one is available (profile 2)
Getting started
- Pick a key layout: arrow keys with Z to jump and X for fireballs, or WASD with K or Space to jump and J for fireballs.
- Start the first level and get moving at once, since every level gives you only a limited time to finish.
- Jump on enemies' heads to defeat them, and grab health and power-ups whenever they turn up.
- Collect every coin within reach, because coins add up to extra lives.
- Check side paths and unusual corners for secret areas, which hold plenty of extra coins.
Tips
- Secret areas pay out many coins, and coins turn into extra lives, so a short detour is worth it as long as the level clock still has time to spare.
- Stomping is your main attack; the fireball key only works once a fireball is available, so do not count on it until you have picked one up.
- Health pickups and extra lives are separate safety nets. Take health when Steve is hurt, and keep a steady flow of coins coming for lives.
- Because each level is timed, move quickly through open stretches and spend the seconds you save searching likely spots for hidden areas.

Super Steve World FAQ
What keys does Super Steve World use?
There are two profiles. The first uses the arrow keys to move, Z to jump and X to shoot a fireball. The second uses WASD to move, K or Space to jump and J for the fireball. Fireballs only work when one is available.
How do you get extra lives in Super Steve World?
By collecting coins. Gathering coins earns Steve extra lives, and the secret areas hidden in the levels hand out plenty of additional coins, which makes searching for them well worth the effort.
Is there a time limit on each level?
Yes. Each level allows only a certain amount of time to complete it, so hesitating costs seconds you may need later. Confident, steady movement is the surest way to reach the end before the clock runs out.
Can Super Steve World be played on a phone?
It is marked as suitable for phones and computers and uses a landscape screen. The controls that are described are all keyboard keys, though, so a computer gives the most reliable way to play.
