TB World is a sandbox for making things up. You put together looks for characters, furnish rooms, and then use both as the stage for stories that nobody scripted for you. There are no strict rules and no fixed storyline, so a session lasts as long as your idea does, and the next one can head somewhere completely different.
The toolkit is a broad set of scenarios, characters and items. Clothing and accessories turn a plain character into a one-of-a-kind look, while decor pieces turn an empty space into a cozy interior. - Drag decor pieces and items into the space to turn it into a cozy interior for that character.
- Swipe characters and items across the screen to position them, then act out the opening scene of your story.
- Switch to another scenario whenever you want a fresh setting; with no fixed storyline, nothing has to be finished first.
Tips
- Decide on a rough plot before styling anyone; with no storyline provided, a story idea tells you which outfits and rooms to build.
- Remember the split between gestures: tapping changes what a character wears, while dragging is what places items when you decorate.
- Carry the same characters through several scenarios to build a running series of stories instead of one-off scenes.
- Match each room to the look of the character who lives there, so outfit and interior read as one scene when you play it out.
