About BlindBat

BlindBat follows a slightly unhinged bat on a flight across the countryside with a single plan: take down every bird it meets. This bat is an odd one, fond of the sun and finding its way through the sky by sonar, and the action plays out in 2D as birds appear along its route. You shoot at them as they come, and each hit clears another one from the sky.

The twist is the ammunition. Shots are limited, and running out is dangerous, because a bat with an empty supply becomes the target and the birds turn on it. Hitting a bird restores supplies, while a miss wastes a shot and brings that moment closer. That loop makes accuracy matter more than speed: careful shooting keeps the supply topped up, and wild spraying drains it. On a phone, it plays sideways.

How to play BlindBat

Objective

Fly the bat across the countryside and shoot down the birds in its way, hitting often enough to keep the ammo from running out, since an empty supply lets the birds attack.

Getting started

  1. Hold the phone sideways or open the game in a wide window, since BlindBat is laid out in landscape.
  2. Start the flight and let the first birds come into range before firing, so the opening shots are not wasted.
  3. Fire only at birds you are confident of hitting; each hit restores ammunition for the next shot.
  4. Keep checking how much ammo is left, because finishing it leaves the bat open to attack from the birds.

Tips

  • Every miss costs a shot and gives nothing back, while a hit refills supplies, so a slower and more accurate rhythm keeps the bat armed much longer.
  • When ammo runs low, wait for a bird you are sure to hit instead of firing at a crowd; an empty supply is what lets the birds strike back.
  • Think of the ammo supply as the bat's health bar. Shooting wisely, with fewer but surer shots, protects it far better than firing at every bird in sight.

BlindBat FAQ

What happens when BlindBat runs out of ammo?

The birds turn on the bat and attack it. Running dry is the central danger of the game, which is why every shot counts and accurate hits, the ones that restore ammunition, matter more than firing quickly.

How does the bat get more ammunition?

By hitting birds. Each successful shot restores the bat's supply, while a missed one simply uses a shot up. Accurate play keeps you stocked, and a string of misses quickly leaves the bat empty and exposed.

Why is the bat called blind?

It finds its way through the sky with sonar rather than by sight, as real bats do. This one is also described as loving the sun, so it hunts birds over the countryside in daylight instead of at night.

Is BlindBat playable on phones?

Yes, it is marked for both phones and computers. The game is designed for a landscape screen, so turning the phone sideways gives the most room to see birds coming and line up each shot.
