About Masquerades vs Impostors
Masquerades vs Impostors puts two masked heroes, one red and one blue, on a spaceship they need to escape from. The ship is full of impostors and zombies, and the rule that shapes everything is color: each hero can only take out impostors that match their own mask. A red impostor is a job for the red hero, and a blue one for the blue hero, so the two have to share the work.
Enemies are defeated by jumping on them, and a double jump helps the heroes reach a target or get clear of one. Zombies are a danger on top of the impostors and should be killed as well. On a computer the game uses WASD together with the arrow keys, while phones get touch controls. The ship has a pixel-art look, and the view is wide rather than tall.

Objective
Help the red and blue masked heroes escape the spaceship by stomping impostors of their own color, killing the zombies and staying clear of everything else.

Getting started
- Turn the phone sideways for the touch controls, or use WASD and the arrow keys on a computer.
- Check the color of each impostor before acting: red ones are for the red-masked hero and blue ones for the blue-masked hero.
- Jump on an impostor of your own color to kill it, using the double jump to reach it.
- Kill the zombies too, since the game warns you to watch out for them as well as the impostors.
- Keep moving through the ship until the masked heroes escape the spaceship.
Tips
- Never jump on the wrong color. Impostors can only be killed by the hero whose mask matches, so leave the other color to the other hero.
- Use the double jump to come down on enemies from above; landing on them is how they are killed.
- Zombies are a threat on top of the impostors, so deal with them as soon as they come within jumping range rather than letting them follow you.
