Cut the Rope: Magic starts with a magical mishap that teleports Om Nom, the lovable little monster, into a mystical world. An evil wizard has stolen his candy, and every puzzle in this world stands between Om Nom and getting it back. Rope cutting is still at the center, as the series name promises, with physics deciding how each puzzle plays out once you act.
The new idea is transformation. Om Nom can change into magical forms, and each form gives him a fresh skill to use against the wizard's tricks and traps. Working out which form a puzzle calls for is what separates this entry from the original rope-cutting adventure, and it adds a second layer of thinking on top of the physics.
