About Chainsaw 3D

Chainsaw 3D hands you a running chainsaw and a series of logs marked with lines to cut along. Your only control is the angle of the saw: you rotate it up and down, guiding the blade so it follows each marked line through the wood. Slicing right on the line is what earns the best score, so precision matters more than raw speed.

Each level lays out a new cutting path, and obstacles appear along the way that the saw has to avoid. Part puzzle and part steady hand control, it asks you to read the line ahead while keeping clear of anything that would break your momentum. It is a single-player game with no in-game purchases, and it runs on desktop computers as well as iOS and Android devices.

How to play Chainsaw 3D

Objective

Cut through the logs along the marked lines on each level, rotating the chainsaw up and down to stay on the line and avoid the obstacles.

Controls

Desktop

  • Mouse: rotate the chainsaw up or down

Mobile

  • Finger: rotate the chainsaw up or down

Getting started

  1. Look at the first log and the line marked on it to see where the cut has to go.
  2. Move the mouse, or slide a finger on a phone, to rotate the chainsaw up and down along that line.
  3. Keep the blade right on the marked line as it cuts through the wood, since accurate cuts score higher.
  4. Guide the saw away from obstacles that appear along the path so you keep your momentum.
  5. Finish the level's path, then move on to the next one, where a fresh slicing route waits.

Tips

  • Make small adjustments rather than big sweeps; the saw only moves up and down, and staying exactly on the line is what earns more points.
  • Look ahead along the path for the next obstacle while you cut, so you can rotate the saw clear of it in time.
  • Since every level has its own slicing path, take a moment at the start to trace the line before the blade reaches it.
  • Compare scores with friends for some competition; the game is single-player, but a cleaner cut on the line pushes your score higher.

Chainsaw 3D FAQ

How do you control the chainsaw in Chainsaw 3D?

Use the mouse on a computer or your finger on a phone to angle the chainsaw up and down. That single motion steers the blade along the marked lines and away from obstacles.

How do you score more points?

Cut directly on the marked lines. Precise slicing scores higher, while running into obstacles costs you momentum, so steady control of the saw's angle pays off on every level.

Are there in-app purchases?

No. The game has no in-game purchases, and it is a single-player experience. You can still compare scores with friends to see who handles the slicing paths best.

Does Chainsaw 3D run on phones?

Yes. It works on iOS and Android devices as well as desktop, and it plays in the browser with no download. On a phone you rotate the saw with your finger instead of the mouse.
