About Bouncing Bug

Bouncing Bug puts you in charge of a lonely, greedy fly with one ambition: gather every bit of gold it can reach. The play area is a bouncy box, the fly never stops moving, and your part is to change its direction at the right moment. Coins and treats sit around the box, while larger flies travel in orbits, waiting for a careless pass.

A single collision with one of those enemies ends the round on the spot, so each run is a balance between greed and caution. The coins you pick up are more than points, because they pay for new skins, and those skins are the bug companions you collect over time. Chasing a higher highscore gives every fresh attempt a clear number to beat, and the wide landscape layout keeps the whole box in view at once.

How to play Bouncing Bug

Objective

Steer the fly around the box to collect as much gold as possible, avoid every collision with the bigger orbiting flies, and spend your coins on new skins while pushing your highscore higher.

Getting started

  1. Start a round and watch how the fly bounces around the box before steering it anywhere near the orbiting enemies.
  2. Change the fly's direction toward the nearest coins, choosing routes that keep a clear gap between you and each larger fly.
  3. Learn the orbit of every bigger fly, then time each pass for the moment an enemy has swung to the far side.
  4. When a collision ends the run with Game Over, check your coins and buy a new skin before trying again.
  5. On a phone, turn the screen sideways first, since the box is laid out for landscape viewing.

Tips

  • One enemy collision means Game Over, so skip any coin that sits right on a bigger fly's path and wait for a safer one to appear.
  • Coins do double duty, raising your score and buying skins, so a long careful run pays more than a short greedy one.
  • Watch where the orbiting flies will be a moment from now rather than where they are, and change direction early.
  • Set a modest target, such as beating your last highscore by a few coins, instead of trying to sweep the whole box in one go.

Bouncing Bug FAQ

What ends a run in Bouncing Bug?

Colliding with one of the bigger flies. The game treats an enemy collision as Game Over straight away, so plan each pass near an orbiting fly as if one mistake costs the whole round, because it does.

What can you buy with coins in Bouncing Bug?

New skins for your fly. These skins are the bug companions you unlock over time, so the gold gathered in every round also grows your collection between attempts, even when the run itself ends early.

Should a phone be upright or sideways for Bouncing Bug?

Sideways. The game is designed for a landscape screen and is marked as suitable for phones and computers, so turning the phone keeps the full box and all of the orbiting flies on screen together.
