About Car Wash DIY

Car Wash DIY is a calm maintenance game about bringing a dirty, damaged car back to its best. You work directly on the bodywork, scrubbing grime from dirty patches and choosing the right tool for each job: a sprayer for water and cleaning spray, a sponge for scrubbing, a sander for problem areas and polish for the final shine. Scratches get their own repair tool, and filling the fuel is part of the routine as well.

A task is only finished once you have covered every dirty or damaged spot, so thoroughness counts for more than speed. The pace stays unhurried and the mechanics stay simple, which suits anyone after a low-stress session. Everything is done by touch: drag a tool across the surface, tap the spot you want to work on, or scrub the dirt directly with a finger.

How to play Car Wash DIY

Objective

Clean and repair each car by working over its surface with the sprayer, sponge, sander, polish and repair tool until every dirty spot and scratch has been dealt with.

Controls

Mobile

  • Finger scrub or tap: clean dirty areas of the car
  • Drag or tap the sprayer: apply water or cleaning spray
  • Drag or tap the sponge: scrub surfaces
  • Drag or tap the sander: sand down problem areas
  • Drag or tap the polish: buff the car to a shine
  • Tap or drag the repair tool: fix scratches on the bodywork

Getting started

  1. Look over the car to spot the dirty patches and any scratches on the bodywork before you start.
  2. Pick the sprayer and drag or tap it over the car to apply water and cleaning spray.
  3. Switch to the sponge and scrub the surfaces with your finger until the grime comes off.
  4. Use the sander on problem areas, then tap or drag the repair tool over each scratch.
  5. Finish with the polish to buff the car to a shine, checking that no dirty spot has been missed.

Tips

  • A task only completes when every dirty spot is covered, so sweep the tool across the whole panel in overlapping strokes rather than dabbing at the obvious marks.
  • Small patches near the edges are easy to miss; if a task will not finish, look along the corners of the car for a spot you skipped.
  • Sand the problem areas before polishing, since the polish is there to buff a finished surface to a shine rather than to fix damage.

A task is complete only when you have covered all the dirty spots. Check the whole car, including the edges and corners, and work the tool over any patch that still looks grimy until nothing is left.

Which tools are in Car Wash DIY?

A sprayer for water and cleaning spray, a sponge for scrubbing, a sander for problem areas, polish for buffing the car to a shine, and a repair tool for fixing scratches. Filling the fuel is part of the car care as well.

How do you use the tools in Car Wash DIY?

Drag a tool across the surface or tap the spot you want to treat. Dirty areas can also be scrubbed directly with your finger, and scratches are fixed by tapping or dragging the repair tool over them.
