Funny Rescue Pet opens with two accidents at once. Lica, a cat, is in trouble because the house has caught fire, while Purry, a raccoon, got soaking wet after playing inside a wall. Neither situation can wait, so the first part of the game is getting each pet out of its mess as quickly as possible. The two emergencies are different, which means Lica and Purry each need their own kind of help.
Once the emergencies are over, the game moves on to care. The pets are cleaned up after their accidents, and then each one gets a makeover, so the second half is about making them look good again rather than saving them.
