About Hook
Hook is a swinging game starring a stickman who gets around by grabbing hooks and letting momentum do the rest. Each level is a course to cross from the start to the finish line, and the stickman swings from one hook to the next, so the work lies in reading the angle and direction of each swing and where it will carry him.
There are over 100 levels, and they are built to be challenging, with the angle of a swing deciding whether the stickman reaches the next hook or falls short. New characters unlock as you advance, each one tied to a particular level, which gives a reason to keep pushing a little further each session. The colourful courses use a tall portrait layout that shows the whole route ahead on an upright phone.

How to play Hook
Objective
Swing the stickman from hook to hook through each level, judging the angle and direction of every swing so he reaches the finish line, and unlock new characters along the way.
Getting started
- Hold the phone upright, since Hook uses a portrait layout.
- Start the first level and watch how the stickman swings on the opening hook.
- Judge the angle and direction of the swing before heading for the next hook.
- Carry the momentum from hook to hook until the stickman crosses the finish line.
- Check which level unlocks the next character, then keep advancing to earn it.
Tips
- The angle of a swing decides where the stickman flies, so study the arc on each hook before committing to the next move.
- With over 100 levels to clear, treat the first ones as practice for reading swings, because later courses demand far more precise timing.
- Characters are tied to level milestones shown as Unlock at level, so pushing a few levels further is how you change your look.

Hook FAQ
How many levels does Hook have?
Over 100. They are designed to be challenging, and each one ends at a finish line that the stickman can only reach by swinging from hook to hook at the right angles.
How are new characters unlocked in Hook?
By reaching certain levels. Each character shows the level it unlocks at, so progress through the courses is what opens them up and gives you a different stickman to swing with.
What decides whether a swing works?
Its angle and direction. Where the stickman is in the arc determines where he travels next, so judging that carefully is the difference between catching the next hook and missing it.
